This delicious bread studded with cranberries and chocolate chips is great for breakfast or a late afternoon snack. It require no special tools and is super easy to make!
If you know me, you know I love farmer's markets. Our local Big Bear Farmer's Market is held every Tuesday. They close for the winter and start back up in Spring. When I heard they opened again, I had to drag Dany down there for some fun shopping.
They have everything from vegetable to people selling crystals; jewelry to cheese. Of course, I was really excited to visit every vendor.
One vendor we were really interested in was a local honey harvester. She is a very nice lady, who also infuses honey with different flavors. She let us try almost every flavor, which made it very difficult to choose. Dany chose the Spicy Chai Honey to take home. My favorite, of course, was the Butter Rum Honey. She mentioned that it was a great honey to bake with.
It sparked my imagination about what I should do with it. I knew I had to bake a bread for someone who had given Dany a gift and what better way than to combine them!
So here is my creation; a spicy chai honey infused bread combined with dried cranberries and chocolate chips for a touch of sweetness.
Of course, you might not be able to find a spicy chai infused honey at your local farmers market, but lucky for you, you can purchase this honey online! If you are in Big Bear, this honey is sold locally everywhere and comes in an different flavors. Give it a try!
